The Name Game is a great way to teach fast snappy responses for a recall, and foundation skills for sports.
🐶 Use large treats that can be throw and seen. Use s surface the dog can easily see the food on.
🐶 Throw the treat in a straight line so the dog can see it go out. Ensure you use either a marker word or a generic cue to give them permission to chase the food. As they have eaten it, use their name and click as they turn.
🐶 Throw in the opposite direction and repeat this pattern.
🐶 Every now and again, include a collar grab, to prevent them automatically running past you.
