🐾 Invest in a good size crate or x-pen for your puppy, one that will last for the time you are likely to need it.

🐾 Ensure you get food the puppy is used to from the breeder or rescue, so you can ensure they have a smooth transition into your home.

🐾 Ensure you have a collar, lead, harness, long line and toys! Any equipment you will need to train, exercise and socialise your puppy.

🐾 Ensure you have any husbandry equipment you will need for your specific puppies needs. If you have a coated breed, ensure you start getting them used to handling and grooming as soon as you can.

🐾 Toys are definitely going to be on your shopping list, for both engagement and enrichment. Choose a variety and ensure they are washable!
